Nicely Done

Finished the difficult in a couple of days - found the challenge and humor to be excellent. Well done!

A zillion out of 5

An entertaining cute word game. The computer plays fake words quite often, but even so, its easy to beat once you figure out the ways to create an advantage for yourself.

Pretty nice game!

Playing it almost every night - its addictive and funny written :)

This is a very good game however

This game is very good but. Think that other languages shoule added.

Love it

Needs a dozen levels

Decent

Good game, good mechanics, nice interface but too short. Needs more maps to conquer. Otherwise, a good casual game to play in parts. Also - needs a save state so you can resume active games later.

Needs to recognize real words

I initially really, really liked this app. However, I got increasingly annoyed that it would not accept words such as "internet" or "prix", but it would allow for itself words such as "interne." I removed this game from my iphone.

March

Wish this game had more maps.

Fun game

The game is fun for any word game lover. A little short but I definitely played straight through. As for he reviewer saying that words like Internet and prix should be included, he should take note that Internet is a proper capitalized noun and prix is a French word.

Great game!

The kids love playing this scrabble type game. They are inspired to beat the monster and rescue the princess. We (the adults) also enjoy playing on the hard setting. Well thought out game! Great fun!

Funny, cute, addictive

Great sense of humor leading into each game. I liked the power-ups and found it hard to stop playing! But as another reviewer said, some common words arent recognized while very uncommon ones are played by the computer. But overall, its a great game with endless replay value.

Uses dark slang

Loved the game. Kids too. Then imagine my surprise when the game used the slang for female genitalia ending in unt. I couldnt believe it! I happened to be playing the game that time with no kid in sight. But imagine if they happened to be playing it? " Mommy, what does c_nt mean?" Come on.

Great game, other the cheating

As other reviewers have said, the game is fun if short. It cheats quite badly, however, so the dictionary it is using needs to be improved. Two examples from my last game: thrustors and haes. Sorry but these are not words. HAES is an acronym but other acronyms arent allowed, and thrustors is either a misspelling or nothing. Games that cheat dont stay fun for long.

strange dictionary

monsters use words that not in common dictionary. its unfair. and i couldnt understand how words are connecting each other?

A zillion...

I loved this game. And it told me to rate it a zillion out of 5. So I have done this. Because this game tickled me in my happy places and made me smile, laugh, and cry tears of joyful disbelief. This game made me want to name my firstborn after its creator. This game made me consider seceding from the United States and renouncing my citizenship in order to swear allegiance to Words With Monsters. This game was even better than that time I fed a bottle cap full of Mountain Dew to a goat; which was followed by another rather jellymad goat ramming into the previously mentioned goat who was enjoying his gift of liquid citrus caffeination. I cried on my phone when I finished the game and then proceeded to lick my screen to retain further sustenance from the awesomeness that was Words with Monsters. My life is Facebook officially changed.

Clever

Simple and well executed.

Splenditudinous

I played this with my dad and yes i am only a 6th grader 12 years of age. At first I thought it was hard but with my spontaneous dad he helped me get through it. It was odd at first because the monsters were ADORABLE! What a great time. I dont think I will be playing it ever again now that I am experienced it .But my dad will play it a lot. Now for those people who want to do something FUN then you should seriously think about getting this game. Ellen

Poorly balanced

The game is a creative game that is frustrating and poorly balanced; you are forced to move first, giving the AI more to work with-- the AI uses an ANAGRAM algorithm to make absurd cheater words, or to fit made up bs (like ixia and zoic) into odd spaces worth dozen of points even at the beginner levels. You dont stand a chance -- and that diminishes an otherwise fun and well made game.

Its fun!

Fun (challenging but not impossible) word game, cute graphics, easy to figure out, good interface for tiny screen, funny storyline.

Ton of Fun

This game is a ton of fun, funny and decently challenging, I hope theres a lot more to come.
